The ḥadīth states that Allāh descends to the lowest heaven and forgives the sins of everyone except one who associates partners with Allāh and one who harbors enmity on that night.ĥ. However, there is a narration which has been argued by some scholars (when supported collectively) reaches the level of acceptability. Most aḥādīth on the merit of the 15th of Sha'bān are either very weak or fabricated. The opinion that sustenance, death etc is determined on the night of the 15th of Sha'bān is false.Ĥ.
